It has long been on our bucket list to walk the entire Camino Francés from St Jean pied de port in France over the Pyrenees to Santiago de Compostela in Galicia, Spain.
The first time we discussed this was in May 2017 when we walked the last 115km of this route from Sarria with our USA friends the Legorreta family and the Henke family.
So we now in 2022 have committed – we bought the air tickets from Stansted airport to Biarritz in France on Sunday 28 August 2022. We will start walking on Monday 29 August 2022.
And very excitingly … we ordered the 2022 John Brierley guide via Amazon – surprisingly we could see on the delivery schedules it came from Madrid and was delivered to us in Lambourn in West Berkshire UK. – what a useful guide this is turning out to be..
