SJPP is a delightful village that goes back many centuries – the buildings look similar to the old Austrian Alp buildings. A striking observation is the whole village follows a similar colour code.

We arrived late and had previously decided to to relax and explore SJPP the next day. The quick look around on the first evening was delightful

In the morning of 29th – We posted some daily meds for Jules on to Estella in Spain for 7 days time…and found a neat market where food for the day was procured

We then spent a quiet moment in the big cathedral – Eglise Norte-Dame du Bout du Pont and lit a donativo candle for Lee and Shana and all who have gone before us.

Tomorrow we start the Camino de Santiago – we will be following many of these “way” indicators – they are present in many guises

It’s going te be a memorable time walking… thinking of you on this amazing journey. Also today a year since Lee passed. Sending lots of love to you both ❤️
Yes – was special & significant to starting to walk today
